In the second hour, he welcomes long-time Point of View friend, Jerry Newcombe. Jerry will be sharing a new documentary, “A City on a Hill.” His final guest is nationally syndicated radio talk show host, columnist, author, and public speaker, Dennis Prager. Dennis joins Kerby to tell us about The Rational Bible: Deuteronomy.

Michael R. Pompeo served as the 70th Secretary of State of the United States, the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and was elected to four terms in Congress representing Kansas’ 4th District.
Secretary Pompeo graduated first in his class at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1986 and served as a cavalry officer patrolling the Iron Curtain. He rose to the rank of Captain and went on to graduate from Harvard Law School.
Before serving in Congress, he spent a decade leading two manufacturing businesses in South Central Kansas. Mike Pompeo is married to his wife, Susan -- with whom he taught 5th grade Sunday school for many years -- and has one son, Nick.

Dr. Jerry Newcombe serves as the executive director of the Providence Forum. Jerry also serves as the senior producer and as an on-air host for Truth that Transforms, the flagship television broadcast of D. James Kennedy Ministries (DJKM). Jerry earned his B.A. in history with honors at Tulane University (1978), his M.A. with honors in communications at Wheaton Graduate School (1983), and his D. Min. James Kennedy and one with Dr. Peter Lillback.Dr. Newcombe’s love for history and keen interest in America’s Christian founding is also reflected in other books he has written. And Jerry has appeared on numerous talk shows to discuss his books or specials. No More “City on a Hill”?
A little known tension between England and her North American colonies was the plan to nullify the colonies’ charters. As this video shows, this would have meant that all the sacrifices of the Pilgrims, Puritans, Quakers, and others to create a “City on a Hill” in the New World would have been dashed to pieces.
