Texas State Representative, District 89 — Texas House of Representatives

Elected to Represent Texas House District 89 in 2018, Representative Candy Noble is in her fourth term and serves on two important House Committees: Ways & Means, and Human Services. She is the President of theTexas Conservative Coalition and serves on the board of the Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute. A strong proponent ofeducation, Candy is proud of her 1983 degree in Education from Hardin-Simmons University. She currently serves on the HSU Board of Trustees. This past session Candy passed some major legislation including placing the Ten Commandments back into public school classrooms, the EPIC City Bill that halted the Muslim-only city planned for her area, a bill that stopped Texas tax dollars from being used to send women out of state for abortions, legislation that stops waste, fraud and abuse in our Medicaid and social services system and passed her firstConstitutional Amendment assuring that only US Citizens may vote in our elections. Candy has been married to Robert for 42 years and they live in Lucas. They have 3 daughters, three sons-in-law, and nine grandchildren. Candy and Robert are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.
