Thrive Women’s Clinic

Our Services

We understand that facing an unexpected pregnancy can be overwhelming, so we’re here to help you understand your options and support you in making the best choice for you and your pregnancy. All of our services are free of charge—all you need to do is make an appointment. We will not benefit from your decision. Here are some of the ways we can help.
Pregnancy Testing / Confirmation of Pregnancy:
We offer free laboratory quality pregnancy tests with results before you leave the clinic. We can also provide the correct paperwork to verify your pregnancy for insurance or Medicaid.

Clinic Services:

We have registered nurses on staff at each location to speak with you about your pregnancy, nutrition, medical history, and sexual health. We also perform free sonograms for those who meet our medical criteria. Additionally, there are a number of licensed doctors who volunteer with our clinic who may be available for further medical assistance.  Read our HIPAA Privacy Notice here.

Pregnancy Options Consultation:

If having a baby wasn’t a part of your plan, you may be feeling lost, confused, or alone. You don’t have to figure this out by yourself—our trained advocates* are here to help you understand your options and offer emotional support, without judgment or pressure. We believe you have a right to make an informed choice, so we’ll give you medical and scientific information about abortion, pregnancy, fetal development, sexual health, and many other topics. The decision is yours, and we hope that, with compassion and respect, we can help you make the best one for you. We do not benefit from your decision–all our services are free. Nutrition and Childbirth Classes:

If you choose to parent your baby, we have free classes taught by nurses, doctors, and other trained instructors to help you and your partner prepare for your newborn.

Material Support:

Thrive Women’s Clinic maintains a small store at each location filled with maternity and infant clothes, furnishings, and other baby items that may be purchased at a discount with coupons earned through our free Earn While You Learn Program. Our hope is to educate and support you in preparing for and taking care of your child.

Community Referrals:

Thrive has many partners in the community who are able to help you with other areas of your life, should you need it. Their services include:

  • Medical Care
  • Social Services
  • Professional Counseling
  • Temporary Housing
  • Adoption Counseling
  • Continuing Education
  • STD Testing
  • Spiritual Guidance (from churches of various denominations)

* Thrive Women’s Clinic is staffed by volunteers who have undergone training in lay counseling. Most volunteers and paid staff do not have degrees in counseling and are not licensed by the state as professional counselors. The lay counseling undertaken at Thrive Women’s Clinic is NOT intended to be a substitute for professional counseling. If you think you need professional counseling, Thrive will be happy to give you a referral to one of our many community partners.
