TJ Stevens (formerly known James Stevens) was a disturbed young man who opened fire inside his Virginia high school in 1982—thankfully physically injuring no one. Stevens spent time in prison, embraced the message of the Gospel, repented, and received Christ as his Savior. Then, after being miraculously paroled, he embarked on a remarkable journey that included playing the role of Jesus in a nationally acclaimed Passion play in Washington, D.C., and other major cities. A singer and songwriter, TJ has performed at the American Country Music Awards and worked in the music industry for many years. The president of a Christian concert promotions company, Stevens Music Group, he lives with his wife in Winchester, Virginia. TJ has two children and five grandchildren.
