Pam brings a twenty-four-year career at Nike, Inc. to 4word, most recently serving as Global Strategic Account Business Director on the Foot Locker, Inc. sales team. Prior to Nike, Pam held various Financial Management positions with Mentor Graphics, US Bank, and United Technologies.
Pam is a native of the state of Oregon. She is actively involved with Oregon State University as an Advisory Board member to the School of Business, and as a Board member of the Alumni Association. Pam is a graduate of Oregon State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a minor in Computer Science.
Packard defines herself as, “an entrepreneur who, with many talented others, helped to build some lasting TV brands like CNBC, HGTV and Food Network. Even so, my checkbook is often unbalanced, I don’t garden and can’t cook. It’s kind of freeing to know you don’t have to master every little thing to add value to an organization.”
The best leaders balance power and grace, and everyone can effectively use resilience--an ability to endure tough situations and make tough decisions, and vulnerability, a willingness to open up, change, and admit when we need help. She offers new tools to bring our strongest emotional selves to work each day.
Jon is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a Masters in Teaching from Emory University. He and his training/consulting company are passionate about developing positive leaders, organizations and teams.
This book is meant for teams to read together. It’s written in such a way that if you and your team read it together, you will understand the obstacles you will face and what you must do to become a great team. If you read it together, stay positive together, and take action together you will accomplish amazing things TOGETHER.
