With a nod to Philippians 4:13 -- "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me" -- this book will help you apply to your Bible reading and study a practice we learned as kids: before you cross a busy road or highway, look both ways. You'll revisit 31 popular Bible passages and replace them back into their original contexts to understand what the inspired writers meant when they penned them. We'll "look both ways" -- before and after the passages -- to gain fresh perspective on them and begin a habit of thinking about a passage's context when we open our Bibles.
