Throughout his career, Tony has been a catalyst for global Bible translation and church planting. His leadership tenure includes serving as Chief Development Officer for The Word for the World, where he specialized in relational development and investor engagement, and nearly a decade at Seed Company, where he initiated numerous translation projects. Previously, he spent 15 years in Cambodia as Country Director for the International Mission Board, overseeing language programs and humanitarian efforts, including facilitating international adoptions.
Tony’s path was defined by a calling to dedicate his life to missionary work—a journey that has taken him from the civil engineering offices of New York to the mission fields of Southeast Asia. Based in Plano, Texas, Tony is the father of four adult children. Outside of his ministry work, he serves on the boards of Life Mark Ministries and Mom’s in the Making and enjoys playing recreational hockey. He remains driven by a single passion: being wherever God and His people are making an eternal difference.
Though the work of Valor America is often on secular election subjects, Joe has won over a large number of Evangelical supporters and also more conservative Catholics too. He believes politics must be understood and pursued through a biblical and Christian lens. He rejects atheist and libertarian dominance in Republican politics.
Joe is a Roman Catholic from the growing orthodox wing of young American Catholics. He studied political philosophy at the University of Dallas in the 1980s. He often speaks on the need for political alliance between conservative Catholics and evangelicals and he is very comfortable discussing the political and theological debates among Catholics and more broadly among Christians in America. He has been interviewed a lot recently regarding crticisms of President Trump by the Pope and vice versa. He has been a big fan of Kerby Anderson and Point of View for thirteen years.
