More than a quarter of the 790 abortion clinics operating in the US would shut down if the Supreme Court overturns federal protections for abortions, according to a study released this week by Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health.

A recent study found 11% of searches for “abortion near me” or “abortion pill” sent Google users to “fake” abortion clinics, which are known for operating with the goal of talking women out of ending their pregnancies.

Pregnancy centers across the country are bracing themselves for future attacks from alleged pro-abortion protesters.  

The Guttmacher Institute released a report Wednesday that said abortions in the United States went up by 8 percent from 2017 to 2020 — the first rise in decades.
