Harvard’s University’s graduate-student union recently approved by a vote of 402 to 210 a resolution denouncing what it called “the murderous Israeli regime” and the “ongoing genocide of the Palestinians.”

Harvard, whose president testified during the congressional hearing, came in dead last on FIRE’s 2024 free-speech ranking list.

October 7 should have been an open-and-shut case of moral condemnation. During peace and holiday, invading Hamas, gunmen murdered, tortured, mass raped, decapitated, and mutilated some 1,200 Israelis. The vast majority were unarmed women, children, infants, and the elderly.

A descent into barbarism is easy and fast; you only need to let yourself go.  The animal part of all of us is just below the surface and constantly has to be controlled, or it will bubble to the top, and we will sink into savagery.
