This week, we filed a federal lawsuit against the city of Bryan, Ohio for discriminating and harassing our client, Dad’s Place Church. We also went before a judge on Tuesday. Plus, we have another court date already set for March.

We went to court Thursday to defend Pastor Chris Avell of Dad’s Place. He’s facing criminal charges for opening his 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the homeless.

Aggrieved atheists, annoyed agnostics and others troubled by a Nativity display, Hanukkah menorah or a poster celebrating Eid al-Fitr at a U.S. military base, might now have a harder time succeeding.

As we close out December, we begin to look ahead to the upcoming year. The challenges that lay ahead are daunting, and the stakes have never been higher.
