Bauer served in President Ronald Reagan's administration for eight years, as Under Secretary of Education and Chief Domestic Policy Advisor.

After leaving the Reagan White House, Bauer became President of the Family Research Council and a Senior Vice President of Focus on the Family.

Bauer took his pro-family, pro-life message across the country during the 2000 Republican presidential primaries and debates.

Today, Bauer serves as Chairman of Campaign for Working Families PAC, dedicated to electing conservative candidates to Congress, and as President of American Values, an educational non-profit organization. He writes a weekly column at Human Events and co-hosts a weekend talk show on Sirius/XM Radio.

In 1973, Bauer received his law degree from Georgetown Law School in Washington, D.C. He is married to the former Carol Hoke, and lives in Virginia. Gary and Carol have three grown children.

J. Shelby Sharpe was born and educated in Fort Worth, Texas, until he went to the University of Texas in Austin for undergraduate and graduate degrees. In 1962 he met and married Martha Holland from Stamford, Texas and they have three children, nine grandchildren and one great-grand child.
J. Shelby Sharpe, J.D. (University of Texas School of Law) was licensed to practice in 1965 following his graduation from law school. He served the Supreme Court of Texas as a briefing attorney for Chief Justice Robert W. Calvert from 1965 to 1966. He is licensed to practice before all state courts in the State of Texas as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal, Fifth, Sixth and Tenth Circuits and before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.
He has been in private practice in Fort Worth, Texas since 1966 and is owner of Law Offices of Sharpe & Rector. During the 1980s, he represented the Home Schoolers in the Leeper case. He represents the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention as its general counsel, four seminaries, numerous churches, USA Radio Network, and Point of View. Over 90 percent of his practice involves the defense of religious organizations. There are many reported opinions in favor of the religious organizations he has represented.

Texas State Representative, District 94 - Texas House of Representatives
State Representative Tony Tinderholt is a father, veteran, and conservative Republican from House District 94. He is currently in his second term in the Texas Legislature, representing the people of Arlington, Dalworthington Gardens, and Pantego in Tarrant County.

During his service, Tinderholt has been an ardent defender of the individual rights of all Texans. He is a founding member of the Texas Freedom Caucus and serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the group. During every legislative session, Tinderholt has been ranked in the top 5 most conservative members by a nonpartisan Rice University study.

He has been named a "Taxpayer Champion" by Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, "Faith & Family Champion" by Texas Values, and "Courageous Conservative" by Texas Conservative Coalition. Many business, pro-life, personal responsibility, transportation, and gun rights groups have also recognized his leadership.

Before his state service, Tinderholt had a decorated military career. He entered active duty Air Force in 1988 as a Spanish Cryptologic Linguist, taking part in counter drug missions throughout South and Central America. Following 9/11, he re-entered active duty, this time in the Army. Tinderholt worked as a platoon leader, executive officer, detachment commander, and recruiting commander, and even volunteered to deploy to a combat zone. At one point, he oversaw an $836 million budget and managed more than 400 personnel.

In his 21 years in the armed forces, Major (Ret.) Tinderholt served many tours across several continents. He earned several badges, awards, and certifications including the Bronze Star and the Combat Action Badge.

In civilian life, Tinderholt served as a Spanish professor at Columbia College in Fort Worth. He holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and currently works as Director of Training & Recruiting for a national financial organization.

He is the proud father to his three children (Kayley, Nathan, and Tyler) and grandfather to one grandson (Jaxon). He is happily married to his wife, Bethany, a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. They are expecting a baby boy in the summer of 2018.

The Tinderholt family loves to give back to their community. They have volunteered with many organizations including Spirit of Hope Arlington, Catholic Charities of Fort Worth, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, St. Jude Medical Center, and the Arlington Police Foundation.
