But Naghmeh’s life was not what it seemed. When she finally revealed the years-long domestic abuse she had suffered at the hands of her husband, many Christian leaders and other former supporters turned their backs on her, and some even urged her to remain silent. But as God gave her strength to speak the truth, He also led the way for her to begin a whole new ministry: speaking and working on behalf of women and children vulnerable to abuse and oppression.
