Jonathan Imbody serves as Vice President for Government Relations and directs the Christian Medical Association's Washington Office. As CMA's liaison with the federal government, he has participated in over 30 White House meetings and events and makes over 200 personal contacts with Congressional leaders and government officials each year. Jonathan testified on euthanasia and assisted suicide before a U.S. Senate committee. Prior to leading Texas Values, Jonathan headed the Liberty Institute offices at the Texas Capitol in Austin where he served as Director of Legislative Affairs and Attorney for Liberty Institute. Jonathan Scruggs serves as senior counsel and director of the Center for Conscience Initiatives with Alliance Defending Freedom. Since joining ADF in 2006, Scruggs has worked on and prevailed in a variety of cases that protect the right of people to freely express their faith in their school, in their business, and in the public square. Jonathan Teague currently works as Minister to Married Adults at Prestonwood Baptist Church. He grew up a pastor's kid and felt a call to full-time ministry at 16. He previously worked as a Student Pastor in churches across DFW. He's received a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication and Leadership from Hardin-Simmons University and holds a Master's in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently, Jonathan is completing his Doctorate in Educational Ministry, with an emphasis on Leadership, from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his wife Michelle for almost 17 years and they have 4 children.
