Patrick Buchanan has been a senior advisor to three Presidents, a two-time candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, and was the presidential nominee of the Reform Party in 2000. From 1966 through 1974, Mr. Buchanan was an assistant to Richard Nixon, and from 1985 to 1987, White House Director of Communications for Ronald Reagan. In 1992, Mr. Buchanan challenged George Bush for the Republican nomination and almost upset the President in the New Hampshire primary. In 1996, he won the New Hampshire primary and finished second to Sen. Dole with three million Republican votes. Born in Washington, D.C., educated at Catholic and Jesuit schools, Pat Buchanan received his master’s degree in journalism from Columbia in 1962. At 23, he became the youngest editorial writer on a major newspaper in America, the St. Louis Globe-Democrat. In 1966, Mr. Buchanan became the first full-time staffer to Richard Nixon in his legendary comeback. He traveled with the future President in the campaigns of 1966 and 1968, and served as special assistant through the final days of Watergate. On leaving the Ford White House in 1974, Mr. Buchanan became a syndicated columnist and founding member of three of the most enduring, if not endearing, talk shows in television history: NBC’s The McLaughlin Group, and CNN’s Capital Gang and Crossfire. In his White House years, Mr. Buchanan wrote foreign policy speeches, and attended four summits, including Mr. Nixon’s historic opening to China in 1972, and Ronald Reagan’s Reykjavik summit in 1986 with Mikhail Gorbachev.

For three decades, Patti Garibay has been at the forefront of countering the culture by leading girls and women to creating lives of integrity. She is the Founder and Executive Director Emeritus of American Heritage Girls (AHG), a national Christ-centered leadership and character development program. She helps thousands of girls discover their true identity and purpose in Christ through AHG’s transformative programming. Prior to creating AHG, Patti served for 12 years as an active leader and volunteer in Girl Scouts USA (GSUSA). She was highly influential in sharing the gospel with her troop in West Chester, Ohio. In response to significant changes in the direction of GSUSA in 1993, the course of Patti’s life changed. As described in her book Why Curse the Darkness When You Can Light A Candle?, she heard the voice of God call her to start something new. Patti drew strength from her wealth of leadership opportunities, her love for her country, and her passion for youth development to take a leap of faith in starting AHG in 1995. Today, AHG stands strong with over 70,000 members globally. There are AHG Troops in all 50 states and 15 countries through the Trailblazer Program. She is the host of the one-minute Raising Godly Girl broadcasts aired on 1000+ Christian radio stations nationally. She is also co-host of the Raising Godly Girls Podcast, specifically designed to equip, affirm, and strengthen parents, grandparents, and guardians in their journey to build women of integrity.

Paul Barreca is the Director of Fellowship International Mission in Allentown, PA. FIM helps missionaries to fulfill God’s call to proclaim the gospel around the world. Paul’s passion for missions and discipleship grew out of thirty-three years of pastoral ministry in which he served churches in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan. His strong focus on personal discipleship developed into a curriculum for one-on-one and small groups based on the discipleship methods of Jesus. He describes these methods in his book, “Follow the Master: How Jesus Made Disciples.” The curriculum he developed is widely used today. It contains 34 doctrinally based lessons with life application titled, “Follow the Master, A Discipleship Course for Growing Christians.” He has taught in Bible colleges in the US, the Philippines, and in Africa. Paul also utilizes wilderness trips and Israel tours as intensives to help believers become spiritually mature and love God’s Word. He led over 30 wilderness trips in Canada and along the Appalachian Trail. In 2011 Paul led the first of numerous Bible study tours of Israel, two of those in partnership with Kerby Anderson and the Point of View Radio Program. Paul studied at Word of Life Bible Institute, Lancaster Bible College, Michigan Theological Seminary, and Clarks Summit University where he earned a Doctor of Ministry degree. He has taught in Bible colleges both in the United States and the Philippines. Paul and his wife Kim have three children and seven grandchildren and have been married since 1982.
