After completing legal education and pupillage, Paul became Barrister to the Keep Sunday Special Campaign in 1988. In 1991, Paul was granted an audience with the Pope. He has authored various legal articles, including one in which Lord Denning supported his critique of interim relief pending a European Court of Justice ruling. Paul practiced in Administrative, Constitutional and European law. In 1996 Paul gained the first injunction against an abortion under the 1967 Act which was front page news. Subsequent to that case, he also took the 1997 banning of the Pro-Life Alliance Party Election Broadcast to the European Court. The Pro-Life Alliance was denied a Public Electoral Broadcast as the showing of an abortion would be ‘distressing’ to women who had had an abortion. He is one of a handful of individuals who understands the law of religious liberty in the legal framework of the Common Law, European Law and International Law. This rare combination of knowledge means that Paul is regularly sought after. He has an understanding of the law and of socio-cultural developments in society that underpin the law. Paul provides a consultancy on strategic responses to societal developments, both to public policy bodies and to religious leaders. Paul’s analytical expertise, sense of humor and blunt eloquence make him an exceptionally dynamic speaker. Paul has a growing practice and has argued a number of groundbreaking cases on religious rights: many of his cases appear on the front page of the newspapers. Paul is counsel of choice in high profile strategic cases and has represented many influential and significant individuals from the former Archbishop of Canterbury to the famous Soviet dissident, Vladimir Bukovsky.

Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S., is serving his third term in Congress as the Representative for Arizona’s Fourth Congressional District. First elected in 2010, he came to Congress with no prior political experience. Paul believes that the Constitution is the cornerstone of our Republic, and pursues policies that allow for more individual liberty and less government involvement. Dr. Gosar is focused on bringing jobs back to the district, fighting illegal immigration and securing the border, challenging the status quo and holding Washington bureaucrats accountable, cutting wasteful government spending, and ensuring that he is representing the interests of his constituents. He has focused his legislative work on natural resources issues and government accountability. Both areas stem from his work on the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Dr. Gosar is Vice-Chairman of the Natural Resources Water, Power and Oceans Subcommittee and Vice-Chairman of the Congressional Western Caucus. During his relatively short tenure, Dr. Gosar has managed to be extremely effective in a time of gridlock when few other bills were enacted. He was recognized in 2012 as one of the hardest working and most effective new members of Congress. Rep. Gosar raised the bar even higher during his second term with six bills signed into law by the president, 12 other legislative efforts becoming law, and 24 of his amendments passing the House. As a result of this legislative success, Representative Gosar was the most effective member of the 113th Congress. One of these legislative victories was the most important bill that passed Congress during this timeframe, facilitating a land exchange that will allow for the creation of 3,700 new jobs and generate $60 billion for Arizona's economy. Before being elected to Congress in 2010, Dr. Gosar owned his own dental practice and was a small businessman in Flagstaff for twenty-five years.
