Robby has served as Long Hollow’s Senior Pastor since 2015. He wasn’t always a pastor, though. For three years, he battled a drug addiction that ravaged his life. A $180 a day heroin and cocaine addiction forced him to steal $15,000 from his parents. After living without gas, electricity, and water for months, losing 8 of his friends to drug related deaths, watching 6 friends arrested, and completing two rehab treatments, Robby remembered the gospel that was shared with him by a friend in college and was radically saved on November 12, 2002. Eight months later, David Platt, a seminary student and church member at the time, asked Robby to meet weekly for accountability, prayer, and bible study. For the next 2 years, David installed a passion for missions, expository preaching, and disciple-making in his life. He also encouraged Robby to go back to school to pursue theological education. Robby completed his Masters of Divinity Degree in Expository Preaching in 2007 and his Ph.D. in Preaching in 2011 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Today, Robby’s gospel conviction and evangelistic zeal drive him to passionately “make disciples who make disciples.” In addition to his leadership at Long Hollow, Robby is also the founder of Replicate Ministries and the author of several books, including Growing Up, Firmly Planted, and Rediscovering Discipleship. Robby and his beautiful wife, Kandi, have two young sons: Rig and Ryder.

Robert Borelli was raised in the heart of an aging Brooklyn neighborhood. He was a small but fiery, attention-deprived Italian boy, drawn to the lifestyle of those who drove Cadillacs, had pretty girls, and were always loaded with easy cash. He became a part of that world early on, running errands and selling illegal goods for local mobsters. His reputation as a fierce fighter grew, and by the time he was a young adult, he had made an impression on influential members of the Gambino crime family. In his early twenties, Robert was on his way to Mafia stardom, mentored by one of the most prominent wise guys in New York City. As the face of the Mafia began to change, so did their illegal business ventures. Robert began distributing and using cocaine; his addiction led to his eventual fall from the ranks of the mob. He tried to get clean and start a family, but his addiction was too strong. Eventually, the drugs became a barrier between him and his loved ones, including his newborn daughter. After another failed attempt at sobering up in Florida, Robert returned to New York, where the cycle of addiction to cocaine overwhelmed him. He was constantly high, shamelessly homeless, and hiding out in crack houses until the day federal agents caught up with him. He saw his life ending in one of two ways; either he would die overdosing, or the men to whom he swore allegiance would silence him first.

Robert Brown had served as a Coordinator and Regional Field Director for The John Birch Society, covering Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. However, he is best known for his lectures on the Constitution. He has produced six of his lectures as a DVD series known as, "The Constitution is the Solution", which is gaining popularity nation-wide. After viewing just two of these lectures, a constitutional attorney from New Jersey remarked, "I studied Constitutional law under one of the most outstanding Constitutional lawyers/law professors in America, and I have learned more from the two DVD's that I saw than I did from the professor." Mr. Brown and his family reside near Billings, MT. A popular constitutional speaker, he has lectured for many liberty-minded organizations throughout the country. Mr. Brown is presently touring the southern states, presenting "Rein in Big Government with Article VI not V", illustrating how we the people already have the power, without any changes to the Constitution, to rein in our out of control federal government.

Bob has written three books over the last 25 years, and now that he has retired from the United States Air Force he intends to pick up the pace. His most recent book, Buy A Cabin: The Theology and Practice of Rest, was driven not because he was a particularly good rester but because he was a particularly bad one. Like many Americans, in general, and Christians, in particular, rest was a guilty pleasure for him…which made it much less of a pleasure. So he took a long time to ponder and write about the subject. As a result, he has become a much better rester. He has been married for 33 years and has three children and two grandchildren. He is an elder in his church and has a nice little cabin in the mountains.
