Sam Black is a renowned author and expert in the field of pornography recovery. As the Director of Recovery Education at Covenant Eyes, he brings a wealth of experience to his work, having joined the organization in 2007 after a distinguished 18-year career as an award-winning journalist. Sam is the author of two groundbreaking books: "The Healing Church: What Churches Get Wrong About Pornography and How to Fix It" and "The Porn Circuit: Understand Your Brain and Break Porn Habits." He has also edited 16 other books on the impact of pornography and regularly speaks at parenting, leadership and men's events across the country. Sam's deep knowledge and compassionate approach have helped countless individuals and families find healing and hope.

Sam Brownback has spent his life in the service of others. He was born in Garnett, Kansas and raised on the Linn County family farm. At Prairie View High School, Sam was elected state president of Future Farmers of America. His interest in public service continued as he attended Kansas State University. During his senior year at KSU, Sam served as student body president. After graduation, Sam decided to attend law school at the University of Kansas where he was his class president before completing his law degree in 1982. Sam met his wife Mary while they were both in law school. They have now been married for almost 40 years and have five children and seven grandchildren. In 1986, Sam became the state’s youngest Secretary of the Kansas Department of Agriculture. In 1994, he was elected to represent the 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1996 where he carried the first comprehensive federal anti-trafficking law. The Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 declared human trafficking a federal crime and increased protection for victims. In the Senate he was a leading advocate for freedom of religious liberty around the globe. Sam worked actively on the issue in multiple countries and was a key sponsor of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998. Sam honored a term limits pledge and ran for Governor of Kansas in 2010. He became the 46th Governor of the Sunflower State in 2011 and was re-elected in 2014. President Trump nominated Sam to serve as Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom in 2017. He resigned as Governor of Kansas on January 31, 2018 and was sworn in to his diplomatic post the next day. He served as Ambassador until January 2021. He currently serves as co-chair of the International Religious Freedom Summit and as a Senior Fellow at Open Doors USA.

Just Say the Word is a calling to Christian husbands to step more intentionally toward spiritual leadership in their home. He does that in a way that offers hope and not more guilt. His personal testimony of the awakening in his own life and marriage is an encouragement to men everywhere that they can let go of the past and experience an intentional, more regular spiritual connectedness with their spouse. Sam Jolman (MA LPC) is a trauma therapist with over twenty years of experience specializing in men’s issues and sexual trauma recovery. Being a therapist has given him a front row seat to hear hundreds of men and women share their stories. His writing flows out of this unique opportunity to help people know and heal their stories, and find greater sexual wholeness and aliveness. He received his master’s in counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary and was further trained in Narrative Focused Trauma Care through the Allender Center at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Sam lives in Colorado with his wife and three sons. Together, they enjoy exploring the best camping spots in Colorado in a pop-up camper. Sam Kleiner is a historian and lawyer based in New York City. Sam holds a doctorate in international relations from the University of Oxford, England, where he was a Marshall Scholar, and a JD from Yale Law School. His writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Foreign Policy, and The Atlantic. He was raised in Tucson, Arizona Sam's interest in World War II started when he was a kid and would listen to stories from his grandfather, who was a navigator on a B-25 in the Pacific during World War II. He read every book about World War II in his elementary school library. He went on to study American history at Northwestern University and then was awarded a Marshall Scholarship to continue his studies at the University of Oxford, where he completed a doctorate in International Relations, focusing on how the President makes the decision to go to war. While attending law school at Yale, Sam stumbled across a collection of love letters between a nurse and a Flying Tigers pilots that were stored in the basement of an archive. The handwritten letters had faded over the decades, the paper almost crumbling but he knew that this was a story that needed to be told. Inspired to learn everything he could about the Flying Tigers and their families, Sam was the only went to the Flying Tigers Association reunion in 2015, where he was the only outside historian. He became close with Frank Losonsky, who is now the last surviving Flying Tiger. Many of the family members supported his research, helping him find diaries and letters that had been tucked away for decades. In 2017, he was the keynote speaker at the Flying Tigers reunion. Sam interviewed Anna Chennault and the family gave him access to hundreds of original combat reports that had been sitting in a basement. These firsthand accounts of the pilots’ battles offer an unprecedented and intimate view on the Flying Tigers.

The Hon. Sam Rohrer is president of the American Pastors Network. He is also known for his work as a former member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Rohrer’s faith-filled journey to serve others began when he placed his faith in God at age 7, and then graduated from Bob Jones University in 1977 as a business major. After working in the business world for 15 years, Rohrer started his involvement with politics in 1992. For the next 18 years, he served as a State Representative in Harrisburg, Pa. During his years in state government, Rohrer sought to apply biblical principles in all areas of legislation, including finance and education. In 2009, he chose to campaign as a candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, and in 2011, ran for United States Senate. Throughout Rohrer’s travels with politics, he connected with many pastors across the state of Pennsylvania and learned about their challenges from the pulpit, which prompted him to lead the Pennsylvania Pastors Network in June 2012. Then in July 2013, the American Pastors Network formed, allowing state chapters to unite across the country for moral truth in the public square. Rohrer has been married to his wife, Ruth Ann, for 36 years. Together they have six children and several grandchildren and are active members of their local church.
