Steve Cable is senior vice president of Probe Ministries. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Rice University with a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining Probe, Steve spent over 25 years in the telecommunications industry. Steve and his wife Patti have served as Bible teachers for over 30 years helping people apply God's Word to every aspect of their lives. Steve has extensive, practical experience applying a Christian worldview to the dynamic, competitive high-tech world that is rapidly becoming a dominant aspect of our society. Steve grew up in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He has been married to his wife Patti since 1976. They have three daughters, Kristen, Cassandra and Hannah. They are members of Prairie Creek Baptist Church, Plano, Texas.

Steve started his work in missions in 1989 as a volunteer for The Voice of the Martyrs. He joined the staff in 1990 and soon after had the honor of traveling with VOM founders Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand. Being able to spend the last decade of their lives with them became the biggest blessing and honor of Steve’s life. He continues with VOM as a contractor and has traveled with them to hostile and restricted nations around the world, including Cuba, Sudan, Northern Nigeria, borders of North Korea and most recently Iraq during the ISIS occupation. In 2015, Steve and Robert Fernandez began an animation studio in San Jose, Costa Rica. It was at this time he began to see both the tremendous need and opportunity of making films for the mission field. In January 2017, Steve officially founded and launched the ministry Revelation Media, which is committed to providing quality and culturally engaging media for the global missions community. His projects include the movie TORTURED FOR CHRIST, a CGI animated, feature-length version of THE PILGRIM’S PROGRESS, and THE ANIMATED BIBLE SERIES, a visual narrative of the entire Bible.

For over twenty five years, Steve Farrar's mission has been to equip men to become spiritual leaders of their families and churches. He is the founder of Men’s Leadership Ministries, and has conducted over 600 men’s conferences in churches and conference centers across North America. He teaches a weekly Men’s Bible study in Dallas that is attended by several hundred men and continually updated on-line. Steve’s conference schedule continues to take him across the United States and Canada.

Steve’s latest book: Reviving America: How Repealing Obamacare, Replacing the Tax Code and Reforming The Fed will Restore Hope and Prosperity co-authored by Elizabeth Ames (McGraw-Hill Professional) came out in December. Steve writes editorials for each issue of Forbes under the heading of “Fact and Comment.” A widely respected economic prognosticator, he is the only writer to have won the highly prestigious Crystal Owl Award four times. The prize was formerly given by U.S. Steel Corporation to the financial journalist whose economic forecasts for the coming year proved most accurate. In both 1996 and 2000, Steve campaigned vigorously for the Republican nomination for the Presidency. During their tenure, the church grew to 17,000 members and constructed a 250,000 sq. ft., 10,000-seat worship center, located on 80 acres in the NASA community. The church also expanded to campuses in The Woodlands, TX; Oceanside, CA; and San Marcos, CA. Steve and Becky now serve as the Lead Senior Pastors of Grace Woodlands Church in The Woodlands, TX, and of New Venture Grace in North County - San Diego, CA.
