Stuart Briscoe was born in the north of England in 1930. After leaving school he embarked on a banking career, served in the Royal Marines during the Korean War, and at 17 years of age preached his first sermon. Stuart and Jill met each other in the context of youth ministry over 60 years ago in England when Stuart was a bank examiner and Jill was a school teacher. They married and based their life together on the biblical verse, “As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15.) Individually and together they have written over 140 books, pastored a church in the United States for thirty years, and founded a media ministry called Telling the Truth that broadcasts daily on air and online across the world. They have three children and thirteen grandchildren. Stuart’s life verse is now Isaiah 26:3.

Susan Packard grew up in a Detroit suburb, one of four kids with first generation Italian and Greek grandparents and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins down the street. One of a small number of women leaders who were a part of the newly created cable industry, Packard used the strategies she learned during those male-dominated times as the basis of her acclaimed first book, New Rules of the Game. An in-demand speaker at summits, TEDX, and corporate events, as well as a guest expert on television and radio, and op-ed contributor, Packard is a pioneer in both the industry she helped to shape and the workplace she works to redefine. Packard defines herself as, “an entrepreneur who, with many talented others, helped to build some lasting TV brands like CNBC, HGTV and Food Network. Even so, my checkbook is often unbalanced, I don’t garden and can’t cook. It’s kind of freeing to know you don’t have to master every little thing to add value to an organization.”

Susie Yanson Jennings is the founder and president of Operation Care International (OCI). She began her career as a nurse in 1978 before stepping into a supervisor role at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. After 30 years of working in the medical field, she obeyed God’s calling on her life by leaving her position to pursue full-time ministry. After her husband’s tragic death, Susie developed anew passion to give back to the community and serve the Lord by distributing blankets to the homeless in downtown Dallas. The homeless called her, “The Blanket Lady,” and Susie’s acts of kindness became the genesis of OCI, which has since grown to encompass multiple ministries and major events each year in Dallas, Texas, as well as missions to the homeless and destitute children in nations around the world.
