U.S. Senator Ted Budd grew up on a cattle and commercial chicken farm in rural Davie County, North Carolina. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Senator Budd learned the importance of faith, hard work, and common-sense decision-making at an early age. While traveling on a Christian mission trip in the former Soviet Union in 1991, Senator Budd met a fellow student, Amy Kate, and they soon began dating and eventually were married in 1994. Senator Budd and Amy Kate have three children and still live in Davie County. Senator Budd is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1994. He and Amy Kate both attended and graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary, where Senator Budd earned a Masters of Theology and Educational Leadership in 1998. Senator Budd also holds a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University, which he earned in 2007. Senator Budd is a proud father of a Stars and Stripes recipient and an Eagle Scout, and he also served as an Assistant Scoutmaster. He and Amy Kate homeschooled their three children, and Senator Budd served as a board member of North Carolinians for Home Education. In 2010, Senator Budd was approached by a friend regarding the purchase of a bankrupt gun range in Rural Hall, North Carolina for a local police department to conduct firearms training, and he did so. Later, the range was opened to the public. The store’s motto is: “Helping our community responsibly enjoy firearms.” When an opportunity presented itself after redistricting opened up North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District in 2016, Senator Budd decided to run for the seat having never sought public office before. The campaign focused on bringing a businessman’s outlook to our nation’s capital. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives on November 8, 2016. Senator Budd served three terms in the U.S. House. During his tenure, Senator Budd was a strong supporter of the America First agenda. He was a fierce advocate for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which reduced taxes for nearly all Americans. He served on the Whip Team to gather the votes for the United States–Mexico–Canada trade Agreement in 2019, which opened up more North Carolina agricultural products to be sold in Canada and Mexico. Senator Budd has been an avid and consistent supporter of law enforcement and the rule of law, having repeatedly voted to increase funding for local police departments across North Carolina. He was also an early supporter of building a wall on the southern border to stop the flow of drugs, human trafficking, and criminals into our country. Senator Budd has always stood for American strength on the world stage. Whether it comes to challenging China, standing up to Russian aggression, or being tough on Islamic terrorists, Senator Budd has always supported the U.S. Armed Forces, our veterans, and their families. Closer to home, Senator Budd has been a strong believer in the sanctity of human life, the value of family, and religious freedom. He believes that parents should be in the driver’s seat when it comes to where their children go to school and what they are being taught. In 2021, Senator Budd launched his campaign for the U.S. Senate to fight for all of North Carolina and to make life better for working families across the state. He was elected on November 8, 2022. Senator Budd serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee; the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee; the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee; and the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee.

Throughout his life, Ted Cruz has proven to be a passionate and effective fighter for limited government, economic growth, and the Constitution. Ted’s calling to public service has been inspired by his firsthand observation of the pursuit of freedom and opportunity in America. Ted’s mother, Eleanor, was born in Delaware to an Irish and Italian working-class family. She became the first in her family to go to college, graduated from Rice University with a degree in mathematics, and became a pioneering computer programmer in the 1950s. After being tortured and imprisoned in Cuba, Ted’s father, Rafael, fled to the United States to attend the University of Texas at Austin in 1957. He then started a small business in the oil and gas industry. Today, Ted’s father is a pastor in Dallas. Growing up, his father would often say to him: “When we faced oppression in Cuba, I had a place to flee to. If we lose our freedom here, where do we go?” Ted has been a tireless fighter for liberty because his family knows what it is like to lose it. Ted has proven to be the exact type of courageous conservative we need in the U.S. Senate to restore economic growth, defend our Constitution, and protect the values we all hold dear. Ted, his wife Heidi, their two daughters Caroline and Catherine, and his entire family have been blessed to live the American Dream — the idea that anyone, through hard work and determination, can achieve anything. And he is committed to ensuring every family has that same opportunity.

Ted was raised in dysfunctional and poor conditions by his mother and grandmother on a small farm in Western, NC. He joined the Marines after high school to fulfill a dream and to serve his country. In 2016, Ted and Christine began serving as the Southeast Regional Coaches for Valor, developing and coaching ministry teams among ROTC cadets (future military officers) and veterans on college campuses. Ted now serves as the National Director for ValorVets. The mission is to transform campus veterans into Christ-centered life long multiplying disciples on every campus, in every nation, to help fulfill the Great Commission. Tennyson Moreno began his political journey at the age of 12, when his local county Republican Party chairman offered one ice cream per call sheet he completed- Tennyson would return later that day on his bike requesting a chocolate waffle cone with sprinkles; and another call sheet. Being raised by a single mother in a lower-middle class home, Tennyson learned how to be financially responsible, work hard, and pinch pennies. Growing up, Tennyson worked many cash jobs and worked after school, and during the summers to save up for his dream of becoming a pilot; although God would have different plans. After years of volunteering, leading campaigns, and activism on college campuses, Tennyson ran for State Representative. At the time, Tennyson was 24 years old, which made him the youngest State Legislative candidate in Texas, and one of the youngest candidates in the country for the 2024 election cycle. Using tools learned from several Turning Point USA conferences, and his experience of working with TPUSA, Tennyson empowered the youth vote and engaged students on college campuses- many voting Republican for the first time. After the election, Tennyson continues to serve his community by serving interests such as aviation, politics, mental health and historical preservation. He is also an avid outdoorsman, a licensed pilot, and a chocolate milk connoisseur. Tennyson studied Aviation Science before studying Public Administration & Political Science at Texas State University Today, Tennyson is preparing for what comes next, and is ready for where the Lord leads him.

Terence Chatmon, a successful senior executive in corporate America, served in leadership roles with several Fortune 50 companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Citibank, and Coca-Cola, but he was failing to become the spiritual leader of his home. He was challenged by his wife to chart a course for the spiritual growth of his family and children. After much prayer, he took what he knew from his corporate-world success and biblical teaching to develop one of the world’s most transformational step-by-step family spiritual development process. Terence is now a family legacy champion, and his family discipleship workshop, Charting Your Family’s Spiritual Course, has reached more than twenty thousand participating families and continues to grow. He is the president and CEO of Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCI.org), a network of executive leaders spanning more than one hundred countries. FCCI uses training conferences, personal relationships, and a rich library of resources to equip and encourage business leaders to see their companies and careers as powerful tools for transformational change. A Chicago native and graduate of the University of Illinois, Terence brings drive and ingenuity to every role he plays in life, as an elder at a prominent eight-thousand-member mega-church, a Bible study teacher, and most importantly a husband and father.

Terence “Terry” Ascott, a British citizen, has lived in the Middle East for nearly 50 years, where he has served as the leader of indigenous media ministries—most notably as the founder of SAT-7, the region’s first Christian satellite television service A fascinating story related in his book, DARE TO BELIEVE! Stories of Faith from the Middle East, Ascott’s experience began in 1973 with a move to Beirut, Lebanon, where he joined an Arabic Christian publishing ministry. After the start of the Lebanese civil war, he and his family evacuated to Egypt, where he launched an Arabic youth magazine called He & She. While working on the magazine, Ascott’s ministry increased its involvement in other media projects, including video production. In late 1995, along with Middle Eastern Christian leaders and approximately 20 partner organizations, Ascott founded SAT-7, six months prior to its first broadcast. The channel was a pioneer in many areas, breaking ground for other ministries to follow.Ascott served as chief executive officer until April 1, 2019, when he transitioned into the role of president while Lebanese native Rita El-Mounayer became CEO. Terry holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree with first-class honors from Middlesex University, England. In December 2011, he was awarded the Honorary Doctor of Christian Ministries degree from Belhaven University “for extraordinary work and achievements in promoting Christianity throughout the Middle East and North Africa.” He and wife Jacqueline live in Nicosia, Cyprus. They have three grown children and three grandchildren.
