Timothy R. Gaines (PhD, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary) is associate professor of religion at Trevecca Nazarene University, where he teaches theology and ethics and directs a graduate program in theology and biblical studies. He has authored and coauthored several books, including Christian Ethics, Following Jesus: Prophet, Priest, King, Kings and Presidents: Politics and the Kingdom of God, and A Seat at the Table: A Generation Reimagining Its Place in the Church. He also serves as a pastor at Trevecca Community Church and has co-hosted the Sermon Studio podcast. He lives in Nashville with his wife and children, where he enjoys running, aviation, and photography.

Tina Aviles is the Vice Chair of the Dallas County Republican Party for the 2020 Biennium and a Grassroots Engagement Director with the Libre Initiative. Guided by her Christian faith, Tina is a political activist, advancing conservative values and supporting conservative candidates. Tina leads, trains, and develops fellow citizens to positively impact the political process. Tina was honored in the 83rd Legislative Session of the Texas State Senate with an official resolution authored by Senator Don Huffines detailing her valuable contributions to the State of Texas and recognized by the Dallas County Republican Party in 2016 with a Reagan Award for her extensive volunteer work, among other distinctions. Selected by former Chairwoman Shorey, Tina served as the Hispanic Engagement Director for Dallas GOP. In preparation for the Presidential election, she led field teams for Trump Victory in the Dallas region and tackled screened voter registration, surpassing her personal goal of identifying and personally registering over 1000 conservative Texans to vote in 2020. Tina is a pink enthusiast, and fruity tea aficionado. Tina and Israel, her husband of 29 years, live in Grand Prairie and had quite an adventure raising four children in a joy filled home. Their family legacy continues with the recent birth of their first grandson, Leo, and the ongoing care of some very special little people that call them Glammy and Gruncle.

Dr. Titus Kennedy is a field archaeologist working primarily with sites and materials of the ancient Near East and the Mediterranean world. He has been involved in archaeological projects at 18 sites spanning 6 countries, including directing and supervising multiple projects from the Bronze Age through the Byzantine period, and has also conducted artifact research at museums and collections around the world. He earned his doctorate from the University of South Africa in Biblical Archaeology with an emphasis on archaeological demographics, MA degrees from the University of Toronto and the University of South Africa, and a BA from Biola University. He is a research fellow at the Discovery Institute, an adjunct professor at Biola University, editor of the Near Eastern Archaeological Society bulletin, and has been a consultant, writer, and guide for history and archaeology documentaries and curricula, including Drive Thru History® and Bible Unearthed™. He has written numerous articles about biblical archaeology and history, and is the author of Unearthing the Bible, Excavating the Evidence for Jesus, and The Essential Archaeological Guide to Bible Lands.

At age 19 Toby moved from New Zealand to the UK and began attending Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) and ended up joining HTB’s affiliated college. After a few weeks working on the classic edition of the BiOY app, Toby was asked by HTB vicar and pioneer of Alpha Nicky Gumbel if he would like to pilot a youth edition of the BiOY to reach young people. Toby immediately said yes and hasn’t looked back - although he admits that at the time he didn’t really know what he was getting himself into. Now Toby is 21 and working full time on the Bible in One Year and as a Youth Pastor for HTB.
