He was privileged to ultimately command these elite warriors in combat operations. Later, Jerry Boykin commanded all the Army's Green Berets as well as the Special Warfare Center and School. In all, Lt. Gen. Boykin spent 36 years in the army, serving his last four years as the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence. He is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging Christians to become warriors in God's Kingdom. Jerry and his wife Ashley enjoy spending time with their five children and growing number of grandchildren.

Fifth of eleven children, he grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. William J. Federer graduated from St. Louis University High School, studied at the University of Dallas, and graduated with a degree in Business from St. Louis University. William J. Federer married his wife Susie in 1981 and has worked in real estate, oil & gas, and religious organizations. William Lane Craig is Research Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology and Professor of Philosophy at Houston Baptist University. He and his wife Jan have two grown children. At the age of sixteen as a junior in high school, he first heard the message of the Christian gospel and yielded his life to Christ. Dr. Craig pursued his undergraduate studies at Wheaton College (B.A. 1971) and graduate studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A. 1974; M.A. 1975), the University of Birmingham (England) (Ph.D. 1977), and the University of Munich (Germany) (D.Theol. 1984). From 1980-86 he taught Philosophy of Religion at Trinity, during which time he and Jan started their family. In 1987 they moved to Brussels, Belgium, where Dr. Craig pursued research at the University of Louvain until assuming his position at Talbot in 1994. He has authored or edited over thirty books, as well as over a hundred articles in professional journals of philosophy and theology. William Martin, Ph.D., is the Harry and Hazel Chavanne SeniorFellow in Religion and Public Policy at the Baker Institute and the ChavanneEmeritus Professor of Sociology at Rice University. He also directs theinstitute’s Drug Policy Program. His areas of research and writing focus on twomajor sets of issues: 1) the political implications of religion, particularlyfundamentalist religions and the importance of the separation of religion andgovernment, or “church and state”; and 2) ways to reduce the harms associatedwith both drug abuse and drug policy. A prolific writer, Martin’s articles, most of which deal withaspects of religion, have appeared in such publications as Texas Monthly, TheAtlantic Monthly, Harper’s and Esquire, as well as in professional journals.His book “A Prophet with Honor: The Billy Graham Story” is regarded as theauthoritative biography of Billy Graham. William McKenzie is senior editorial advisor at the George W. Bush Institute, where he is working on editorial projects on democracy and freedom and education reform. He previously served as founding editor of The Catalyst: A Journal of Ideas from the Bush Institute. As an adjunct journalism lecturer at SMU, he teaches a course on media and politics. He also has led a course on education policy and journalism. Before joining the Bush Institute, the Fort Worth native served 22 years as an editorial columnist for the Dallas Morning News and led the newspaper’s Texas Faith blog. The University of Texas graduate’s columns appeared nationwide, and he has won a Pulitzer Prize and commentary awards from the Education Writers Association, the American Academy of Religion, and the Texas Headliners Foundation, among other organizations. Before joining the News in 1991, he earned a master’s degree in political science from the University of Texas at Arlington and spent a dozen years in Washington, D.C. During that time, he edited the Ripon Forum. Mr. McKenzie has served as a Pulitzer Prize juror, as a volunteer with and board member of homeless organizations in Dallas and Washington, and on governing committees of a Dallas public school.
