Bruce Eberle is the President and Founder of Eberle Communications Group, Inc. an organization that helps nonprofit leaders realize their dreams. He is a Trustee of Youth for Tomorrow New Life Foundation, a Director of Time of Grace Ministry, and a past member of the Board of Regents of Wisconsin Lutheran College. He is a recipient of the Nehemiah Award for leadership from Youth for Tomorrow, and the Pro Gloria Dei award from Wisconsin Lutheran College. A graduate of the University of Missouri and a veteran, Bruce and his wife, Kathi, have two children, Elizabeth and Matthew.

A native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Bruce Fleming graduated from Haverford College at nineteen with a degree in philosophy (BA '74) and holds graduate degrees in comparative literature from the University of Chicago (MA ’78) and Vanderbilt University (Ph.D.’82). He was a Fulbright Scholar in West Berlin and taught for two years each at the University of Freiburg in Germany and the National University of Rwanda. The latter as a Fulbright professor. He has taught at the US Naval Academy since 1987 and is the author of over twenty books His essays have been published in many leading US literary magazines, including The Yale Review, The Antioch Review, The Gettysburg Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, and Southwest Review. He has won an O. Henry Award and the Antioch Review’s Award for Distinguished Prose, as well as the US Naval Academy’s Award for Excellence in Research and a US Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award. Fleming has published op-eds in national media outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Atlantic, and The Federalist, and has been interviewed on CNN, C-SPAN, NPR, and the BBC. He lives with his family outside Annapolis, Maryland.

Bruce Herman (American, b. 1953) is a painter and educator living and working in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Herman holds the Lothlórien Distinguished Chair in Fine Arts at Gordon College where he is Professor of Art, and has taught & curated exhibitions since 1984. He completed both undergraduate and graduate fine arts degrees at Boston University College of Fine Arts with graduate work under Philip Guston and James Weeks; undergraduate work with David Aronson, Reed Kay, and Arthur Polonsky. Herman lectures widely and has had work published in many books, journals, and popular magazines––most recently in Through Your Eyes (Wm. B. Eerdman Books). His artwork has been exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions in eleven major cities including Boston, New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. His work has been exhibited internationally, and in many university galleries throughout the United States and Canada.

Bruce Shaw is the Executive Director of the Denny Center for Democratic Capitalism. Prior to joining Georgetown Law, Mr. Shaw served as Managing Director at FCLTGlobal, a not-for-profit that develops research and tools that encourage long-term investing and business decision-making. Mr. Shaw began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, and then served in various leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer, at Holly Corporation and Holly Energy Partners (now HFSinclair Corporation). Mr. Shaw received his MBA at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Bruce Thomas began working in Romania right after the fall of Communism in 1990. He initially went to Romania to help develop a national network of youth ministry for the Church who had been so harshly persecuted under the Ceaucescu regime. He and his wife Catherine Vandermeer Thomas started a non-profit ministry to serve vulnerable children in Romania in 2001. Together with an incredible international staff team, they have cared for, protected, evangelized and discipled thousands of abandoned kids. Their ministry is called Livada Orphan Care. (livada.org) “Livada” is the Romanian word for orchard and serves as a symbol of what they want to accomplish: They want to use the platform of orphan care to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Bruce is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a trauma informed caregiver certified in Trust Based Relational Intervention from TCU’s Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development. He is the co-founder of the Romania Without Orphans Alliance and a member of the Christian Alliance For Orphans. He and his wife Catherine were the recipients of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s “Angels In Adoption Award.” They are the parents of four sons, of whom their older two sons are adopted from Romania. Bruce is the Founder and Executive Director of Livada Orphan Care and resides in Frisco, Texas.

Senator Bryan Hughes is serving his first term in the Texas Senate, representing the 16 counties of Senate District One in Northeast Texas. Prior, he represented District Five in the Texas House of Representatives for seven terms, from 2003 to 2017. Born and raised in East Texas, Bryan attended Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Tyler, receiving his BBA in Economics, cum laude, in 1992. He went on to Baylor University School of Law, where he received his law degree in 1995. Bryan then served as law clerk to US District Judge William Steger of Tyler from 1995-1997. He has received numerous awards for his work in the Legislature, including the Taxpayer Champion Award from Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, the Horizon Award from Texas Right to Life, and “Defender of the American Dream” from Americans for Prosperity.
