Carmen LaBerge is passionate about helping others connect the eternal to the everyday. As a trusted voice in Christian circles, she has a unique ability to bring the Biblical worldview to bear on whatever is happening in the world and help people cultivate an understanding of critical issues from God’s perspective. The Reconnect launched with this mission in mind: to bring God back into our conversations. In her seventh year serving as the President of the Presbyterian Lay Committee, Carmen speaks at events and conferences across the country including The Truth for a New Generation national apologetics conference alongside recognizable figures such as Josh McDowell, Eric Metaxas, Lee Strobel and Tony Perkins. Carmen is also a member of the National Association of Evangelicals, the Mission America Coalition, the National Religious Broadcasters and the Christian Leadership Alliance, and Chairman of Common Ground Christian Network.

Carmen Pate is a speaker, teacher of biblical studies, and mentor to those seeking to discover their place in God’s story, encouraging women to fulfill their God given purpose. In addition, Carmen is the producer and host of Saving Grace, a podcast ministry of Grace School of Theology. Carmen’s past work experience includes serving as a Principal with Alliance Ministries, and Chief Communications Officer for Truth in Action Ministries. She has produced and hosted nationally syndicated radio programs including Truth that Transforms Radio, and Point of View Radio Talk Show. Carmen was a past President of Concerned Women for America (CWA). In that capacity, she regularly defended family and Judeo-Christian values before Congress and international media venues. For over 30 years, Carmen has been committed to defending the unborn and ministering to women affected by abortion. She was a member of the founding Board of Directors for the international 40 Days for Life. Carmen was Host and Co-Producer of the DVD study series, Restoring the Value of Life, available through D James Kennedy Ministries. Carmen and her husband Bob have three grown children and 8 grandchildren. Bob and Carmen live in Conroe, TX.
