After joining the US Secret Service in 1999, Dan received a Department of Justice award for his many successful investigations while assigned to a financial fraud task-force. Previously, as the Founder and Executive Director of the Austin Disaster Relief Network for fourteen years, Daniel led the effort to assist hundreds of thousands of disaster survivors, train over 20,000 volunteers, raise more than $22 million to help affected families, and help launch several church networks amid crises. He has provided assistance and training to churches and cities in Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, in Moore, Okla., in the aftermath of an F5 tornado and the Texas Hill Country floods in 2018, to name a few. In total, he helped to launch a church network in nine cities during times of crisis. Geraci released his debut book, United in Crisis: A True Story of God's Miraculous Power Working Through a United Network of Churches, in May 2024.
