O.S. Hawkins, originally from Fort Worth, Texas, holds degrees from Texas Christian University (BBA) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, PhD). He currently serves as Chancellor and Senior Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Evangelism at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, he was the pastor of the historic First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, and he is the President Emeritus of GuideStone Financial Resources, the largest Christian-screened mutual fund in the world, which supports 250,000 church workers and Christian university staff with assets exceeding twenty billion dollars. Dr. Hawkins held the position of President/CEO from 1997 to 2022. He has authored over 50 books, including the bestselling "Code Series," which has sold more than two million copies. He actively preaches at churches and conferences nationwide. Dr. Hawkins is married to Susie and is a proud father of two daughters, two sons-in-law, and six grandchildren.

Prior to his ministry with InterVarsity, Greg Jao was an employee benefits attorney in Chicago. He is the author of Your Mind’s Mission (2012) and The Kingdom of God LifeGuide Bible Study (2003) and contributed to Following Jesus Without Dishonoring Your Parents (2009), all published by InterVarsity Press.

Greg also helped develop the Daniel Project, a leadership acceleration program for InterVarsity ethnic minority staff and fraternity/sorority ministry staff. He was the emcee for the Urbana Student Missions Conference in 2003, 2006, 2009, and 2012.

Currently, Greg serves on the boards of Wheaton College and the Evangelical Covenant Church. He has also served as a Trustee of Langham Partnership USA.

Greg and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters. He has a B.A. in English from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
