Mike LeMay is General Manager of WORQ Christian Radio in Wisconsin, and host of a daily Christian talk show, Stand Up For the Truth. Along with a group of Christian men, Mike has studied what the Bible teaches about thought processes and taking our thoughts captive (2 Corinthians 10:5 [Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)] ), along with what medical science is now discovering about how the brain works. Mike has met with hundreds of Christians over the past 14 years, learning and sharing about the challenges of living the Christian life. He discovered that while most Christians know what the Bible teaches about our thoughts, that most Christians didn’t know how God designed our brains, heart and conscience to actually take our thoughts captive in obedience to God. His book “The Death of Christian Thought: The Deception of Humanism and how to Protect Yourself” looks at how humanism has infiltrated secular and Christian communities, seeking to indoctrinate people away from a rational thought process. This has led to many professing Christians living defeated lives and ineffective in sharing the gospel and making disciples. Mike has been married to Nancy since 1995 and has two adult children, Matthew and Andrea. He is committed to helping Christians understand the biblical teachings on our thought processes so believers can live a life of joy and experience excellent fellowship in marriages and churches.

Dr. Michael Lundie is a Staff Cognitive Scientistat ARA and has acquired extensive experience in neuropsychological research, qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection and analysis, and cognitive and behavioral modeling. His topical areas of research expertise encompass optimization of human brain health and performance as well as developing models and interventions related to cognitive warfare and ideological polarization. With regards to the former, his most recent work concerns the efficacy of neuromodulation methods such as transcranial photobio modulation (tPBM) to improve cognitive performance. Dr. Lundie contributed to and led projects that assessed interventions for improving cognitive performance, evaluating human-computer interfaces for improving cognitive functions in warfighters who sustained traumatic brain injuries, quantitative methods for assessing decision making, and the efficacy of neurostimulation-based methods for mapping the neural correlates of creative problem solving. Turning to cognitive warfare, Dr. Lundie’s research has contributed models identifying the specific role of metacognition as a moderator of confirmation bias conferring resistance to online influence campaigns. His current research seeks to identify the neuropsychological underpinnings of susceptibility to cognitive warfare tactics, with an eye toward developing interventions that improve digital literacy and facilitate adaptive psychosocial outcomes in the context of social media use. Dr. Lundie’s findings have been presented at the Academia Industry Military (AIM) Health R&D Summit, The Military Health Science Research Symposium (MHSRS), Society for Philosophy and Psychology(SPP), the Cognitive Neuroscience Society (CNS), and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP). Dr. Lundie studied Philosophy at Southern Methodist University, received his M.A. in Neurophilosophy at GeorgiaState University, and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Cognition and Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas. His dissertation project merited funding through the prestigious Friends of Brain Health Distinguished New Scientist Award and Dianne Cash Fellowship.
