Ron Jones is a pastor, author, and radio Bible teacher. He has served churches as lead pastor in Texas, Oklahoma and Virginia, ranging in size from 300 to over 3,000 in weekly attendance. He currently serves as lead pastor of Atlantic Shores Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2011, Ron launched Something Good Radio as a broadcast outreach and extension of his pulpit ministry. What started in Washington DC as a weekly half-hour Bible-teaching program on Sunday night grew quickly to a daily (M-F) broadcast in the Nation’s Capital and then to national syndication on more than 100 radio outlets across the United States. In addition, Something Good Cares, the missionary outreach of Ron Jones Ministries, brings humanitarian relief, the gospel, and the compassion of Jesus Christ to thousands each month through strategic missionary partnerships. Ron is also anticipating the publication of his first book in January 2016 called Mysteries of the Afterlife: Exploring the Amazing Secrets. Dr. Jones has earned degrees from Purdue University, Dallas Theological Seminary, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ron is passionate about introducing people to Jesus Christ through anointed biblical teaching that transforms lives. He and his wife Cathryn have been married for 21 years. They have two children.

Ron Kelley has been a Plano, Texas resident since 1996. The nearly two decades in Plano have been an incredible experience for his entire family as they have enjoyed the excellence the city has to offer with great neighborhoods, parks, walking trails, libraries and economic opportunities. Ron’s business expertise includes a 19-year career serving in various sales and marketing roles within Corning, Alcatel, Fujitsu Network Communications, and several high tech start-up companies. He spent the majority of his business career at Fujitsu where he last served as Vice President - Sales and was responsible for $1.2 billion in annual revenue. Ron left the business environment in 2004 as he sought to make a tangible difference in the lives of people. Today, Ron serves as Executive Director of the Prestonwood Foundation, providing biblical guidance and training in the area of personal finances and career transition. For more than a decade, Ron has been assisting people in search of employment through teaching networking strategies, resume writing, and providing job leads. He also assists families with developing spending plans, debt reduction and saving plans. Ron graduated in 1986 from Appalachian State University in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He also was a member of the golf team. In 2009, Ron earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. Ron and his wife, Gwen, have been married for 24 years and have two children, Meaghan, a recent Texas A&M University graduate who is now studying at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and Matthew, an accounting major at Baylor University.

Ron Simmons is the son of two Arkansas public school teachers. He and his wife of 39 years, Lisa, have three adult children and two grandsons. Ron is a distinguished alumnus of Dallas Baptist University and the co-founder and former Chairman of Retirement Advisors of America (RAA) a $2.5 billion wealth management firm. He and Lisa are active members at Prestonwood Church in Plano. From January 2013 to January 2019 Ron served as the State Representative for House District 65 in Denton County. In his three terms in office, Representative Simmons proved to be a leader in policy areas such as transportation, disability rights, first amendment protections and tax reduction. Ron was appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, to serve on the board of Texas Mutual Insurance Company, the largest provider of Workers Compensation Insurance in Texas. Pastor Ron Smedley was born in Dallas Texas and has pastored churches in Mississippi, Iowa and Texas. He has been happily married to Kathy for 39 years. Ron and Kathy are the proud parents of four adult children, two grandchildren and another one expected in May. Ron is currently pastoring a church in Hopkins County Texas and has served the community most of his adult life in various capacities. He is a currently a trustee of his local school district and sit on boards of several non -profit ministries and agencies. He has been a minister for over 30 years and has also worked as a parole officer for the State of Texas and a caseworker for Child Protective Services. Because Pastor Smedley has been both a pastor, parole officer and a caseworker, he has a very distinctive and unique perspective on recovery. Having experience in both secular and faith treatment, has led to a perspective that brings a diverse and balanced approach. Not only is his experience unique, it is advantageous to Mission Recovery’s mission because he had the experience and training to take the successful processes of both worlds and use then to empower the faith community as well as likewise, address the system about the benefit, value and results of faith-based recovery. Out of this dual perspective, he has first-hand experience to see both the magnitude and pervasiveness of the problem in our nation, and the many facets of the problem.
